Yemen renews support for Somali reconciliation

MOGADISHU, July 25 (Saba)- Yemen ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Omar renewed position of Yemen which supports efforts of the Somali reconciliation to regain security and stability in this African country. During his meeting with head of the Somali Reconciliation Committee Ali Mohammed, the ambassador said that the dialogue is the only way out for resolving disputes between all Somali factions. He highlighted efforts of the committee to organize a conference on national reconciliation to be the first conference held Somalia since the collapse of the previous government in 1991. Mohammed expressed appreciation for efforts of the Yemeni leadership represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh to restore peace in Somalia.
