Women’s rally in Dhamar supports legitimacy, President’s initiatives

DHAMAR, April 07 (Saba)- Thousands of women in Dhamar city participated on Thursday in a mass rally supporting the constitutional legitimacy and President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s initiatives and calling for national dialogue.The participants chanted slogans expressing their support to President Saleh and the constitutional legitimacy, and called on all political forces to sit at the table of dialogue.They denounced the attempts aimed to coup on democracy and the people’s will expressed through the ballot boxes.Moreover, the participants in the rally condemned the acts of violence suffered by the mediation convoy of Sanahan, Belad al-Ros and Bani Behlol tribes, which led to a number of dead and wounded.The fire accident happened on Tuesday, when a mediation convoy arrived at the western gate of the 1st Armored Division in Sana’a. It left four killed people and about 67 injuries.The mediation aimed to persuade the Division’s Commander Ali Mohsen to change his decision siding with the Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) and return to support the constitutional legitimacy.BA
