Vice president attends Omani ceremonies
SANA’A, Nov 17 (Saba) – Vice President Abdu Raboh Mansor Hadi left Sana’a on Thursday for Oman to attend ceremonies marking Oman’s
national day.
Upon his departure, Hadi said the participation in ceremonies of the Omani people on 35th anniversary of the national day came within significant ties between the two brotherly countries under
sponsorship the both political leaderships in two countries headed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Sultan of Oman Qaboos bin Saeed.
“We will convey congratulations of the president Saleh to Sultan Qaboos and the Omani people on this occasion,” he said.
He added that “undoubtedly, the relations between Yemen and Oman formed a model for the real brotherly ties.”
He made it clear that the joint outlets between the two countries became bridges for brotherly communication and centers for trade.
“There are many fields of extending joint cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests of both peoples,” he said.
Hadi is being companied by a number of ministers and other officials during this visit.
