Talks with French president are fruitful, says president Saleh

PARIS, June 25 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh described his talks with his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy as “fruitful”.In his dialogues with TV5 and ITLI channels, president Saleh said that the talks aimed at enhancing friendly ties between Yemen and France.He made it clear that his talks with French president dealt with means of enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries and last developments in the regional and international arenas. The conditions in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and region of African Horn as well as role of France to push peace process in the region forward were discussed, he said. AH/AH SABA
