Somali president meets Yemeni ambassador

MOGADISHU, June 11 (Saba) – Somalia’s president Abdullah Yusuf Ahmed received on Wednesday the Yemeni ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Hameed Omer. Omer conveyed the best wishes of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to his Somali counterpart for the signing of the peace deal between the Somali transitional government and the opposition coalition. Omer also conveyed wishes of president Saleh to his Somali counterpart Abdullah Ahmed for his government efforts to pull Somalia out its crisis and that will enable the Somali institutions of accomplishing their responsibilities successfully in the interests of the Somali people.
