Somali President meets Yemen ambassador

MOGADISHU, March 10 (Saba) – Somali President Shaikh Sharif Shaikh Ahmed met on Monday with Yemeni ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Hameed Omar.During the meeting, the Yemeni ambassador conveyed President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s regards to President Shaikh.The Somali President and the Yemeni ambassador discussed current situations and the latest developments in Somalia and efforts to heal the rift among Somali factions.The Somali president asked the ambassador to covey his regards to President Saleh, expressing his deep thanks for Yemen’s efforts to support the Somali government.YA
