Somali president arrives in Sana’a
SANA’A,(Saba) – Somali President Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed arrived in Sana’a early on Saturday in a two-day official visit to hold talks with President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the Yemeni-Somali mutual cooperation. Ahmed’s talks with President Saleh woud also deal with efforts to help rebuilding Somalia. The Somali president, in remarks to Saba, expressed happiness for being in Yemen in his first visit for an Arab country since he was elected on October 10. He praised the Yemeni-Somali historical relations, and said his visit aimed at thanking President Saleh for his efforts in serving Somalia. Ahmed said he would discuss with Saleh the underway steps for forming the new Somali government. JW/KM SABA
