Shura Council praises President’s participation in G8 summit

SANA’A, June 16 (Saba) – In its Wednesday meeting, the main committee of Shura Council discussed results of the visit of the President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the United States and his participation in the G8 summit. In the meeting, the committee praised viewpoints of the president that was presented in the summit as he confirmed welcome of Yemen for any initiative, which calls for reforms that come from inside not imposed from outside. The committee said the participation of the president was enhanced role of the Yemen in the region as deepening Yemeni democratic in the region as the summit confirmed offering support to Yemen in different fields in the top of which is development of economic and financial administration.
