Senegalese leader telephones with President Saleh

SANA’A, April 5 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday a telephone call from Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade. During the conversation, the two leaders discussed many issues regarding bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries as well as the latest developments in the region, including Yemen in light of the current crisis. The Senegalese President confirmed his country’s solidarity with Yemen’s security, stability and unity. For his part, President Saleh expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Abdoulaye Wade on his sincere feelings. The President also affirmed his concern to resolve the current crisis through dialogue in order to avoid sedition and bloodshed and meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people in fields of progress and stability.
