Senegal President praises Yemen support for Islamic nation

DAKAR, SENEGAL, Oct. 17 (Saba)- President of Senegal, Chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Abdoulaye Wade has praised the active role done by Yemen within the OIC in serving issues of the nation and activating the common Islamic action. In his speech at the 9th session of the Permanent Committee for Media and Cultural Affairs, held during the past three days in Dakar, he affirmed the unlimited support of his country and the OIC for Yemen’s security, stability and unity, condemning the terror acts targeting the country. He noted the tangible development seen in Yemen at different levels under the wise leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, hailing the Islamic, civil and cultural heritage of Yemen. AMAM Saba
