Saudi king congratulates president Saleh on winning elections

SANA’A, Sep. 22 (Saba)- The Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz congratulated on Friday President Ali Abdullah Saleh on winning presidential elections. In a phone call, the Saudi king congratulated president Saleh for the trust granted by the Yemeni people for him to go ahead in development process of the country for coming period. He wished further progress and prosperity for the Yemeni people under leadership of president Saleh, confirming support of the kingdom for development process in Yemen. For his part, president Saleh expressed thanked king Abdullah for his brotherly feelings, congratulating him on national day of the Saudi people. He wished him good health and more welfare and progress for the Saudi People. AH/AH
