Saudi FM hails president’s efforts to tackle Saada rebellion

RIYADH, May 13 (Saba) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al Faisal praised Tuesday the great efforts President Ali Abdullah Saleh exerted to tackle the Saada sedition. “President Ali Abdullah Saleh deserves our appreciation and the pro-Houthi rebel elements should listen to the voice of right and voice of justice”, al Faisal stated in a press conference held in Riyadh, noting that this what the Saudi Kingdom wishes. The Saudi Minister indicated that his country “follows up carefully” the escalation of armed violence in certain areas of Saada province due to the rebellion acts. “We look forward to the rebels’ response to these good efforts and to observe the agreement they have signed with the government to spare bloodshed and to avoid sedition”, he added.
