Saudi Chief of Staff congratulates Yemen

RIYADH, May 23 (Saba)- Saudi Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Saleh bin Ali al-Muhayya expressed his good wishes to President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Yemeni people on the Reunification Day, May 22. Al-Muhayya said in a statement to Saba’s Riyadh correspondent that Yemen, after the reunification, played a great role in preserving the peace of the region. “Yemen has a weight in the region and its ties with Saudi Arabia are strong even before the two countries signed a border treaty.” AA/AA SABA
