Sana’a Forum inks more cooperation agreements
ADEN,(Saba)- Sana’a Forum for cooperation concluded its meetings on Thursday with issuing a joint declaration to push cooperation including
political, economic and security forward.
In the final session, the members inked seven memos and agreements included agricultural, exports development, free trade, culture and sport areas.
The forum headed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh and involved Sudanese president Omar al-Bashir, Somali President Abdullah Yusif Ahmad and Ethiopian
Prime Minister Meles Zenawi discussed enhancing cooperation and partnership among the Sana’a Forum countries.
The four leaders briefed the outcomes of security, political and economic committees discussions and the possibilities to establish a number of joint companies in different areas.
They also reviewed the situation in the African Horn and Somalia as well as the developments in the Arab region, especially in Palestinian and
Iraq.
