Sana’a conference arrangements discussed

SANA’A, June 12(Saba)- Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Abu-Bakr al-Qirbiheld on Monday a meeting with ambassadors of the G-8 Dutch
and Turkishambassadors to discuss the on-going arrangements for Sana’a Conferenceon Political Reforms and Freedom of Expression which is set to be heldbetween June 25-26, 2006.

The meeting also thrashed out the latest developments in the Somali arena.

Al-Qirbi affirmed the significance of gathering the international effortsto support settling stability in the Somali government, pointing out tothe role of President Ali Abdullah Saleh in reconsolidating the Somalifactions.

Moreover, the Palestinian situations were tackled in the meeting in which they condemned the last Israeli assaults, asking the UN and the international society to settle this situation.
