Sana’a Coalition summit in December : al-Qirbi

SANA’A, Non 25(Saba)- Foreign minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said that the summit of Sana’a Coalition including Yemen, Sudan and Ethiopia is scheduled in December 27-28 following a meeting of the ministerial committee in December 24-25. Al-Qirbi said that joint technical committees would meet early in December to discuss issues relating to security and economic cooperation and propose new mechanisms to establish a joint market, free zone and businessmen council. Al-Qirbi said that the coming summit would be headed by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, president Omar Hassan al-Bashir of Sudan and Ethiopian prime minister Meles Zenawi. They will discuss cooperation on economic, trade, security and fighting terror, their support for the new Somali leadership to go ahead rebuilding Somalia, as well as the crisis in Darfur in Sudan.
