Saleh’s visit to USA was fruitful, al-Arhabi says

SANA’A, May 2 (Saba)- Deputy Primer Minister Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi said that the talks of President Ali Abdullah Saleh with his US counterpart were positive and fruitful. Al-Arhabi siad ” I could say that the visit of president Saleh to United States was totally successful.”He added that US administration has appreciated efforts of president Saleh on the national reforms and democracy in Yemen. He added that the officials of World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Corporation of Millennium Challenges were highlighted the achievements of Yemen in the reform agenda. He said that the US officials also expressed their support for the development and democracy in Yemen. He expected that the US administration would increase its aids to Yemen in coming period within framework of mutual cooperation development. He pointed out that the Yemeni government would get use from the Millennium Challenge Fund annual support to support Yemen accession program to the fund which supports Yemen by $ 100 million.
