Saleh urges national dialog under Shoura Council

SANA’A, Dec. 14 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Monday a letter to the Shoura Council over launching a national dialog that should gather all political and social forces under the umbrella of the council. Based on our previous call for the dialog to address all crucial issues and our sense of responsibility ‘We urge a comprehensive dialogue on December 26 that should take place under the constitution and national principles, with all political and social forces as well as civil society organizations involved in it’, Saleh said in his letter. The dialog must take place under the supervision of the Shoura Council, and those who must attend are: Shoura members, political parties on the Party Affairs Committee through party heads and No 2 leaders, 22 scholars from the Yemen Scholar Association, heads of parliamentary blocs and their reporters, chairpersons of successful CSOs, 22 social dignitaries and Secretaries of local councils across the republic.
