Saleh transfers YR. 1 billion to the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples

SANA’A, August 3 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh asked on Thursday to transfer all financial support of Yemeni businessmen for his elections campaign that reached YR. 1 billion to the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.During the launching of the donations campaign, the chairman of the popular committee for Lebanese and Palestinian peoples support Yahya Mohammed Abdullah Saleh said that president Saleh asked the committee to collect all donations from businessmen and transfer them into the account belongs to the Lebanese and Palestinian peoples support. He also said the door is open for the volunteers’ doctors who like togo to offer medial help for the injured people in Lebanon and Palestine. He mad it clear that till yesterday the committee has collected some material and medical aids that cost more than YR. 45 million. He said that the aids will be sent to Lebanon and Palestine, as soon as Yemen gets the acceptance that secures the landing of the aids planes that in the Lebanese and Palestinian airports. AH/TN SABA
