Saleh to invite S. African counterpart to visit Yemen

SANA’A, April 10 (Saba) – Parliament speaker Yahya al-Rae’i is to head for South Africa to deliver a letter from President Ali Abdullah Saleh to his South African counterpart Thabo Mbeki inviting him to visit Yemen. The weekly 26 September newspaper said the letter will also deal with means to promote bilateral relations. Al-Rae’i and the accompanying delegation are set to take part in the international parliament conference to be held in the South African city of Cape Town on 13-18 April. FR/FR Saba
