Saleh, Schroeder hold closed-door talks session

ana’a,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder held on Wednesday evening a closed door talks session. Saba learned that the two leaders discussed the bilateral relations and mutual cooperation, the Middle East peace process and the latest developments in Iraq and the African Horn especially in Somali and efforts exerted for peace settlement in Sudan. The two leaders have also discussed the international efforts for fighting terror and cooperation with the friendly countries in this respect. Saleh and Schroeder inked three agreements on investment and avoiding double taxation and Mareb electricity station implementation. AH/TNSABA
