Saleh returns home

SANA’A, Nov 12 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned home on Monday after participation in the opening ceremony of the 11th Pan-Arab Games held in the Egyptian capital Cairo. On the sidelines of the ceremony, President Saleh met with his Arab counterparts Egyptian President Husni Mubarak, Sudanese President Hassan al-Bashir, Jordanian King Abdullah II, Iraqi President Jalal Talaibani, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and also Bahraini Crown Salman Bin Hamad who participated in the ceremony and discussed with them means of strengthening bilateral relations with each. The Arab leaders exchanged viewpoints towards the latest developments in the Arab arena and at regional level, particularly the situations in Palestine, Iraq, Somalia, Darfur region of Sudan as well as the Arab Peace Initiative and the international conference on peace scheduled to be held late in November in Annapolis city of USA.
