Saleh receives phone call from Haniyeh

SANA’A, Feb. 16 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday a phone call from Prime Minister of Hamas government in Gahaza Ismail Haniyeh.During the phone conversation, Haniyeh briefed Saleh on the current developments in the Palestinian arena.He expressed his gratification on the ceasefire decision in Saada, saying it is a wise decision for saving Yemeni people’s lives.The Palestinian official hailed the supportive positions of Yemeni leader and people towards the Palestinian cause.In return, President Saleh renewed Yemen’s attitudes in supporting the Palestinian cause, topped by the Palestinian right to establish its own state with its capital Al-Quds.FJ/AF
