Saleh receives letter from Venezuelan leader

SANA’A, Aug 23 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Wednesday a letter from the Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez pertaining to bilateral relations and cooperation. The letter requests Yemen’s support to Venezuela to gain impermanent membership in the Security Council as a representative for Latin America. President Saleh spoke highly about the Venezuelan stand towards Arab issues. The letter was submitted by the Venezuelan deputy Minister of Higher Education Boras Bonsilion. KN/NS SABA
