Saleh receives letter from al-Bashir on situation in Darfur

SANA’A, April 02 (Saba) – Vice-President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi received Wednesday a letter to President Ali Abdullah Saleh from Sudanese counterpart Umar Hassan al-Bashir concerning the latest developments in Darfur region of Sudan. The letter handed over by the Sudanese Finance and National Economy Minister Awadh Ahmed al-Gaz included also al-Bashir’s praise of the efforts president Saleh has made to heal the Palestinian rift as well as the Yemeni supporting attitudes towards the Sudanese unification and security. Furthermore, it dealt with mutual cooperation relations between the two countries and means of enhancing them. The Vice President renewed the Yemeni attitude supporting Sudan’s stability, affirming the Yemeni adherence to develop cooperation ties with Sudan in various fields to realize the common interests of both countries’ peoples.
