Saleh receives congratulations cable from Russian counterpart

SANA’A, May 20 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Wednesday a congratulations cable from his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Unification Day.The Russian President said, in the cable, the constructive discussions during President Saleh’s last visit to Russia gave an enhancement to the development of Yemeni-Russian cooperation in all areas.The friendly ongoing relations between Russia and Yemen will be strengthened in continuously manner to serve the interest of both countries and to ensure peace and stability in the Middle East, Russian President said.He wished President Saleh best health and the Yemeni government and people all progress and prosperity.FJ/AF
