Saleh presides over GPC’s meeting

SANA’A, April 23 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh presided over on Thursday the meeting of the Permanent Committee of the General People’s Congress (GPC). The meeting went through many issues concerning the latest developments in the political, economic and social issues, as well as duties to be carried during the forthcoming period. The committee affirmed holding the 2nd ordinary round of the GPC in May, 5th and the 3rd round of the permanent committee in May 4th. It also stood before a number of national activities and strategy of the GPC and the party’s vision and plans concerning political reforms required for the next period. The committee affirmed unifying national fronts to face the destructive activities carried out by some outlaw elements that aim to harm the homeland’s unity and stability. TD/MA Saba
