Saleh, Mswati III hold talks on mutual relations
SANA’A, Oct. 22 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Wednesday King of Swaziland Mswati III, who is visiting Yemen currently. Saleh and Mswati III held a talks session over mutual relations and means of reinforcing them at different levels in order to achieve interests of the two countries’ peoples. They reviewed a number of regional and international issues and development of concern to both countries. President welcomed the Swaziland King, wishing him a pleasant stay in Yemen and expressed concern of Yemen to improve the bilateral relations between Yemen and Swaziland to expand fields of joint cooperation between the two countries, particularly the economic area, as well as coordination in different arenas. For his part, the Swaziland King expressed pleasure to visit Yemen, unfolding his country’s desire to improve relations with Yemen and to increase the commercial and economic exchange with Yemen. He praised the tangible development in Yemen, topped by the Yemeni unity. Mswati III called Yemeni businessmen to invest in the Kingdom of Swaziland to realize the joint interests of the two countries, noting that his visit to Yemen will open further fields to establish new cooperation relations. During the meeting, a cooperation draft was signed to form a ministerial committee to be headed by FMs of each country to establish cooperation in the fields of commerce, economy, policy and others. The draft was signed by Deputy FM Ali Muthana and the Swaziland FM Lutfo Dlamini. AM/AM Saba
