Saleh meets with outgoing Japanese envoy

SANA’A, Feb.14 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Sunday in Sana’a with Japanese ambassador to Yemen Masakazu Toshikage on the occasion of the end of his term in Yemen. During the meeting, President Saleh praised Yemen-Japan ties, appreciating Japan’s support to Yemen. President Saleh also presented the Japanese ambassador with the order of merit in recognition of his efforts to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Yemen and Japan. Toshikage thanked Saleh and appreciated the cooperation of the Yemeni leadership to facilitate his job in the country. MB/FRSaba
