Saleh meets president of Comoros

SANA’A, Feb. 01(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Thursday with the visiting president of Comoros Abdullah Sambi. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation between Yemen and Comoros and the latest developments in the Arab and Islamic issues. Saleh affirmed Yemen would continue supporting Comoros by offering scholarships in Yemeni institutes and universities in addition to presenting aids in security, military, information, cultural and educational fields. He also called Yemeni businessmen to foster ties with their counterparts in Comoros. AF/NS
