Saleh meets Pakistani chief of joint general staff

SANA’A, Jan. 22(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh and vice-president Abdu Rabu Mansour met here on Monday with the chief of Pakistani joint general staff Ehsan al-Haq and the accompanied delegation who are visiting Yemen. The Pakistani official briefed the president on the results of talks with Yemeni officials on enhancing military cooperation relations and improving cooperate relations between the two countries’ armies. Saleh praised the level of brotherly relations between Yemen and Pakistan which is getting improve constantly, affirming the Yemeni’s interest to foster such relations in different areas. AF/NS
