Saleh meets outgoing German ambassador

SANA’A,Jan.26(Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Wednesday with German ambassador to Yemen Michael Klor-Berchtold to bid farewell on the occasion of ending his tenure. At the meeting, Saleh and Klor-Berchtold touched on bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them. Saleh hailed efforts exerted by the ambassador during his tenure in Yemen to strengthen and develop the Yemeni-German relations, noting to the advanced relations between the two countries and Germany’s support for the development and democracy in Yemen. For his part, the German ambassador expressed his appreciation to President Saleh for facilities and care he received during his term.
