Saleh meets Egyptian FM, Intelligence Head

CAIRO, June 29 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Tuesday at his residence in Cairo with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abu al-Gheit and discussed aspects of cooperation ties between the two countries. The meeting also dealt with the latest developments in the region, issues of mutual interest and the outcomes of the pentagonal committee that concluded on Monday in the Libyan capital, Tripoli. President Saleh also received head of the Egyptian Intelligence Service Omer Suleiman and discussed aspects of cooperation between Yemen and Egypt with a focus on the security field and efforts in the fight against terrorism.
