Saleh: Martyrs’ sons will be given full care and priority

ADEN,Dec.29(Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh confirmed on Wednesday that the martyrs’ families and sons would be given full care as much as possible. This came in President’s speech during the ceremony of martyrs’ sons held at Palestine Hall in Aden province. He said that the martyrs’ sons would be given priority in military colleges, free medical care and employment. In his speech, President Saleh voiced his happiness to attend this gathering for the sons of martyrs and activists of the Yemeni revolution. He expressed his deep regret to those victims lost by the homeland, who were from its finest sons, including senior leaders and political and social figures in those provinces. After the May 22, 1990, there is no power struggle and there are no tragedies like those were taking place in the past, Saleh pointed out. President Saleh praised what included in the closing statement and speech of the martyrs’ sons. “We support and praise the closing statement of the martyrs’ sons. As I already have spoken, we will close all files, in case their owners stop harming the homeland and citizens”, Saleh said. Talking to the martyrs’ sons Saleh said “You are capable to pardon if they returned to the right path”. President Saleh considered the unity as a gain for all martyrs’ sons and for all sons of the country. In his speech on behalf of the martyrs’ sons, Son of the martyr President Salem Rubaia Ali, Ahmed Salem, appreciated the support of President Saleh for the sons of the martyrs who died during the political conflicts. Referring to the President’s announcement on closing the files of the past, Salem said “To those, who are still playing with fire and conspiring against the homeland and its unity, we say if you do not come to your senses and stop conspiring, we will open the old files and return to prosecutions and trials.” BA
