Saleh makes phone call with Sudanese counterpart

SANA’A, July 16 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made on Sunday a phone call with the Sudanese President Omer al-Bashir who presides thecurrent round of the Arab summit. In the phone call, Saleh discussed with his Sudanese counterpart the current developments in the region under the arrogant Israeli aggression againstthe Palestinian and Lebanon people, affirming the importance of holding the Arab summit. He confirmed that the situation may be worse in case the Arab countries do not take a strict attitude to protect the regional interests against Israeli attacks. AF/NS SABA
