Saleh lays foundation stone for developing AFZ industrial zone

ADEN, Dec. 06 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh laid on Monday a foundation stone for a project of developing the industrial, logistic and housing Zone in the Aden Free Zone (AFZ).The project is based on an agreement singed between AFZ and Aden Gulf Development Ltd Company on establishing, developing and operating the AFZ industrial, logistic and housing Zone.The project, which is the first of its kind in the AFZ, will be implemented in stages beginning from January 2011. It will create numerous job opportunities that will absorb a part of unemployment in the country in general and the governorate in particular as well as enhancing the partnership between public and private sectors.HA/AF
