Saleh kicks off visit to USA
SANA’A, April 29 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh left on Sunday for the United States on an official visit. In the visit, that comes in replay to an invitation from the USA president George W. Bush, the two presidents would discuss the Arab Peace Initiative, the war on terror and the last regional and international developments that have common interests particularly in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and Darfur in Sudan. Saleh and Push would also talk about the bilateral relations and the aspects of the joint cooperation between Yemen and USA. Saleh is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Bakr al-Qirbi and other senior officials.
