Saleh inspects carnival square in Hadhramout

MUKALLA, Feb 9, (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh inspected on Wednesday the progress of the construction of the 160km-long Mukalla-Doa’an highway which costs Yr 6.5 billion. Saleh urged acceleration of the implementation of the highway. He also inspected the site of Mukalla corniche which will be implemented at a cost of YR 1.46 billion. The project is expected to be inaugurated as a tourist facility next May, it was founded upon directives of President Saleh. President Saleh also visited the Carnival Square where an amphitheater will be set up to seat 20 thousand persons at a cost of Yr 350 million. KN/AA SABA
