Saleh: I have many duties to do in the coming period

SANA’A, July 04 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh presented to the Parliament here on Tuesday his application to run the presidential election. Then Saleh stated to the media that he handed over his documents to the Parliament according to the constitution, pointing out that he decidedto stand for presidency in a response to people who got out to the streets asking him to complete the mission. “I have great responsibilities to do in the coming period: guarding the revolution, unification, freedom and democracy and protecting the country from those who seek to change the republican regime into monarchy, like that attempt occurred Sa’ada,” said Saleh. Saleh said that his coming program would complete some projects such as improving the infrastructure, fighting poverty, ending the unemployment in addition to completing the building up of the military institutions.
