Saleh grants al-Tilal club President Football Cup

SANA’A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Sunday chairman and members of al-Tilal Sportive and Cultural Club which won President Football Cup 2006-2007. He congratulated al-Tilal football team for wining the national football championship 2006-2007 and granted them the President Football Cup. On the other hand, President also met with chairman and members of al-Ahli Sportive, Cultural, Social Club which won Football Tournament Championship 2006-2007. He granted the club’s team the football tournament winning Medal. Saleh felicitated the two clubs for their excellent performance throughout the qualifying competitions which reflect their high morale and determination to present a distinguished level of the national football. He also valued efforts exerted by the technical and administrative systems of the two clubs, underlying the progress of the national football as well as its effective competition in the regional and international contests.
