Saleh directs govt to build more water barriers, dams

SANA’A, ( Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid Thursday an inspection visit to Bani Matar district of Sana’a giving directives to the government to build more water barriers, dams and tanks to store as much rainwater as possible to feed ground water and be used for irrigation. During the visit, President got familiar with a number of projects in the district. He then met with a number of the local authority’s members, sheikhs and dignitaries as well as citizens who expressed their great gratitude to him for his care of the district needs and situations.
