Saleh condoles on victims of Moscow’s Domodedovo terrorist attack
SANA’A,Jan.26(Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Wednesday a cable of condolences to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev on the victims of the terrorist bombing that took place yesterday at the Domodedovo Airport ,near the Russian capital Moscow. In the cable, Saleh voiced Yemen’s condemnation to this terrorist act, expressing condolences to the Russian leadership and friendly Russian people and families of the victims in this terrorist incident. He confirmed Yemen’s solidarity with Russia to combat terrorism, reiterating that terrorism has neither religion nor homeland and forms a threat to international peace and security and requires concerted international efforts to confront it. About 34 people have been killed in an explosion at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport and over 165 others are said to have been injured. Investigators believe the incident was a terrorist act committed by a suicide bomber. The bomb was detonated in the arrivals area of the international terminal at the airport. BA Saba
