Saleh calls Egyptian counterpart

SANA’A, April 23(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made Sunday a phone call to the president of Egypt Mohammad Hosni Mubarak in which they discussed the regional developments, particularly the Palestinian situation in the light of Hamas and Fatah crisis.

Saleh urged Mubarak to hold a joint meeting for the concerned Palestinian factions in order to reach an agreement on common interests which help Palestinians settle their problems together.

The talks also came across a number of issues related to the Arab and Islamic nations and exchanged viewpoints toward them.
