Saleh arrives for Libya summits
SIRT, Oct. 09 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived on Saturday in Libya for the extraordinary Arab summit that takes place later today in Sirt city. The summit will be dedicated to discussing the outcomes of studying proposals and visions to improve the Arab common work by the pentagonal committee that was formed at the last summit. Other issues including Arab neighbors, establishing a neighboring regional association, the peace process in the region and the Palestinian case are on the agenda as well. Saleh will also attend the second African summit that will take place in Sirt city after the Arab summit. After warm official and public receiving, Saleh and Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi held talks that focused on the latest developments at regional and international levels and the summits agendas. They also discussed the mutual coordination between the two countries for strengthening Arab solidarity and activating Arab common work in the light of delivered proposals and initiatives. FRSaba
