Saleh and Lahoud discuss Israeli attacks on Lebanon

SANA’A, July 18(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Tuesday his Lebanese counterpart Emile Lahoud and discussed with him the atestdevelopments in Lebanon due to the Israeli attacks on civil institutions. The two leaders also talked over holding an urgent Arab summit to discussthe serious situations in Lebanon and Palestine. Saleh affirmed the Yemeni strict position to “support brothers in Lebanon and Palestine”, praising the resistance of Lebanese people to face theIsraeli attacks. He also called the Arab and Islamic countries and international society to stand besides the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. President Saleh re-confirmed the importance of holding the Arab summit to come out with united visions toward such arrogant aggressions by Israel,pointing out that the summit would be a chance to discuss the Arab issuesin general.
