Saleh and Abbas discuss the formation of national unity government

TAIZ, Sep. 11 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received a phone call from the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas who briefed him on the current consultations on the formation of the national unity government to facefuture challenges. He also briefed president Saleh on the agenda of the Palestinian national agenda of the national work among all Palestinian factions to server the interests of the Palestinian people. President Saleh welcomed these positive steps that reinforce the unity of Palestinian people. He said that the formation of national unify government is a positive step to meet the needs and aspirations of the Palestinian people. He renewed Yemen’s stance that supports the Palestinian people to get its fair rights and establishing its own independent state and al-Aqsa as its capital. AH/TN SABA
