Saleh, Al Thani hold discussion session

ANA’A, May 09 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh and Qatari Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani held talks on Wednesday dealing with means of boosting brotherly relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries in various political, economic, cultural and security areas. The two leaders confirmed their interest to enhance bilateral relations and to seek all possible means to serve common interests. They also exchanged viewpoints over the latest regional, Arab and international developments, mainly the currently situations in Palestine, Iraq, Somalia and Sudan. They also talked on the Arab Peace Initiative and the role of Arab countries to convince the international community to pressure on Israel to accept the initiative that keeps the right of Palestinians to get independent state.
