Saleh affirms Yemeni initiative for Lebanese people

SANA’A, July 18(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesdaya phone call from the Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berry. During the call, the two officials discussed the latest events in Lebanon. Saleh renewed calls upon the international community to press Israel to respect the international legitimacy, confirming the constant Arab-Israeli conflict “will not harm only the Arab nations’ interests, but also those of countries all over the world.” He expressed his hope that the extraordinary Arab summit would be able to reach decisive decisions against Israeli challenge.
