Saada events target all, says PM

SANA’A, May 19 (Saba)-The Prime Minister Ali Mujawar said on Saturday that the current events in some regions of Saada governorate target all and constitution. In a meeting brought together representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations, Mujawar pointed out to the political background of the terrorist movement that commits destroyed acts and promotes wrong teachings in Saada. He reviewed three military and political stages of erupting the war and serious attempts of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to make an end for the strife at the beginning but those attempts subjected for the rejection of the terrorist elements. He said that president Saleh asked them to practice political activities by setting up their own party and fighting through poll box instated of carrying weapons against the state. He confirmed the military solution was the last choice and it was important due to armed attacks of the terrorists who killing soldiers and civilians in some regions of Saada. They damaged development process in the governorate, he added. The dialogue should be a foundation to realize partnership between the government, political parties and non-governmental organizations, he said. He made it clear that the aim of the meeting was to show concern of the government to contact with organizations of civil society to enhance partnership between them toward issues associated with national interests. For his part, the Chairman of National Security Body Ali al-Anisi reviewed efforts of the Parliament, Shura Council and Yemeni Religious Scholars Association to clear the current developments in Saada. He said that the terrorists want to disorder the security of the nation and it should be important to root them out. A number of representatives of parties and organizations confirmed support for the state to face these elements, calling for creating a clear national strategy to promote national education among youths to face wrong ideas and extremism.
