Presidential source denies al-Houthi’s surrender

SANA’A, July 24 (Saba)- A source in the Media Office at the Presidency of the Republic denied Saturday news that the rebel leader Hussein Badruddinal-Houthi surrendered to mediators and arrived Saturday morning to the presidency. This is baseless, the source told alsahwanet confirming that the army is committed to halting military offensive at the ordering of President Saleh. Military offensive against the dissident cleric was halted last Thursday as President Ali Abdullah Saleh delegated a committee of mediators togo to the rugged mountains of Marran and convince the dissident clericto surrender.
